Does it actually stop scratching?
The smooth clear surface removes the grip and texture cats look for, so most cats lose interest in that spot. Placing a scratching post nearby helps redirect the habit even faster.
Will it damage my furniture when I remove it?
It's designed to peel away cleanly without residue on most smooth surfaces. We still recommend testing a small hidden area first and removing slowly.
Does it work on leather, velvet, or suede?
No — it is not recommended for leather, velvet, suede, or delicate / loose-weave fabrics. It performs best on smooth, tightly-woven upholstery, wood, doors, and painted surfaces.
How much do I need?
You cut it to size, so one roll usually covers several scratch-prone spots. A single couch corner often needs less than a meter. Choose 20cm × 2m (Starter) for corners and smaller spots, or 45cm × 2m (Extended Coverage) for wider areas like full sofa sides and doors.
